| General Job Summary |
| The IT End-User Equipment Administrator is responsible for the management of end-user equipment for University Bank. The management activities include procurement of equipment using competitive pricing comparisons across multiple vendors; the preparation, staging, imaging, and shipping of equipment to employees; receipt, review, and re-imaging of equipment from employees that separated from the company; tracking of end user equipment inventories; ongoing patching and updates of all end user equipment; and reconciliation of end user equipment vendor invoices and University Bank departmental billing. The IT End User Equipment Administrator works with all departments of University Bank to ensure smooth administration of end-user equipment for company employees. The IT End-User Equipment Administrator is also responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance with applicable IT processes appropriate monitoring and performance reporting, developing, and maintaining end user equipment technical roadmaps and working with IT management to ensure alignment of IT with the needs and directions of business units. |
| Summary of Essential Job Functions |
- Manage and maintain the end user equipment fleet throughout its lifecycle at University Bank including laptops, thin clients, multi-function devices, and peripherals (keyboards, mice, web cams, cables, power strips, etc.).
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date end user equipment inventories machine identification, configuration, patching levels, and employee use information.
- Procure end-user equipment using competitive pricing approaches to ensure the best/lowest cost and highest performance.
- Monitor and maintain on premise inventory levels appropriate for each location where inventory is maintained and reconcile inventories on an appropriate schedule.
- Maintain end user equipment lifecycles to ensure that all end user equipment deployed at University Bank maintains vendor and operating system support.
- Maintain end user equipment lifecycle monitoring to forecast changes to end user equipment in future years to assist with IT and departmental budgeting.
- Prepare, image, stage, and where appropriate ship or deploy end user equipment for new employees or when equipment is being replaced for existing employees.
- Track, receive, assess, and re-image equipment from employees separating from the company or when the equipment is being replaced.
- Maintain detailed reporting on shipping expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Administer data storage device inventory processes and data storage device destruction for any data storage devices removed from retired end user equipment, in accordance with regulatory guidance.
- Administer appropriate and regulatorily compliant end user equipment recycling processes.
- Maintain and administer on premises and remote end user equipment imaging capabilities.
- Maintain and administer Microsoft, Apple, and third-party patching deployment and reporting capabilities.
- Maintain and administer on premise and remote operating system update capabilities.
- Track and report on patching activities and escalate any exceptions to patching policies, processes, or procedures.
- Maintain accurate accounting reporting for purchase, deployment, and retirement of end user equipment to ensure proper billing to departments.
- Reconcile deployments from on premise inventories with accounting reporting to ensure appropriate inventory valuations.
- Evaluate existing IT and business end user equipment technology systems and develop / maintain technical roadmaps for those systems.
- Document end user equipment systems and support techniques, and cross train others within the IT department to ensure continuity of operations at all times.
- Ensure compliance with established information and cyber security policies, processes, and procedures.
- Provide assistance as needed for escalated issues and problems from other areas of IT and from business units.
- Assist with regulatory compliance projects and documentation as needed, including but not limited to vendor risk reviews, department risk assessments, disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and IT audit and exam preparation and follow-up activities.
- Mentor and train IT employees on technology solution maintenance and support activities.

Education, Training and Work Experience |
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar discipline preferred.
- 6 years of IT experience required.
- 4 years of end user equipment management experience both on premise and remotely.
- 4 years of end user equipment imaging and patching experience.
- Extensive experience supporting Microsoft and Apple operating systems.
- Extensive experience with remote support, configuration management, and inventory reporting tools.
- Experience with virtualized and cloud workstation environments required.
- Equipment inventory management and reporting experience required.
- Experience managing vendor relationships – contract reviews, managing service level agreements (SLAs) preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated industry, highly preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.

| Working Environment |
| Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments. |
