We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager with a solid background in manufacturing and a proven track record in building robust financial models. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role is critical in driving financial performance and ensuring the company meets its business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process, including the development of detailed financial models to support long-term strategic planning.

  • Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and market conditions.

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models for various business scenarios, including product costing, margin analysis, and capital investment evaluation.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights into business performance. Recommend actions to optimize financial outcomes.

  • Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics, variances, and trends.

  • Manufacturing Analytics: Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing costs, operational efficiencies, and product profitability. Provide insights to improve cost management and operational performance.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Support strategic projects and initiatives by providing financial analysis, modeling, and business case development.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Engineering, to gather data, provide financial insights, and support business decisions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in the FP&A function. Implement best practices and drive efficiency in financial planning and analysis processes.

  • Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, training, and career development support.

  • ERP System Management: Oversee the use of financial modules within the company’s ERP system. Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and system optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.

  • Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
    • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software.
    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
