HR Administrative Assistant (3 Week Assignment)
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Onsite)
Employment Type: Temporary (3 Weeks)
Pay: $22-24/hr.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support a short-term records management and HR administration project. This role will primarily focus on organizing and uploading historical employee performance reviews into the company's HRIS while providing additional administrative support to the Human Resources team as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, experience working with HR systems, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve employee performance reviews from Paycom and electronic file folders.
- Accurately upload and save performance reviews from 2019 through 2025 into each employee's personnel profile within UKG.
- Ensure all employee documentation is filed correctly, consistently, and confidentially.
- Verify document accuracy and identify any missing or duplicate records.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
- Assist with general HR administrative functions, including:
- Electronic filing and document management
- Employee record maintenance
- Data entry and HRIS updates
- Administrative support for the HR department
- Other special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience required; HR administrative experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as UKG, Paycom, Workday, ADP, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with personnel file management or HR document retention.
- Familiarity with both Paycom and UKG is a plus.
- Experience supporting Human Resources in an administrative capacity.
