Compensation: $150K-160K Base Salary 10% Bonus

The organization is an innovative Government Construction & Infrastructure Operations Technology Management company, specializes in transportation management mechanisms of the future. Revenues exceed hundreds of millions per year and company is on the path to be a billion-dollar organization. Vaco is conducting a confidential search for a client seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Manager of Business Applications.
Purpose:
The Manager of Business Applications will lead and manage business applications activities, including implementation projects and related processes. This role involves the development, implementation, and support of corporate application systems within planned timelines and budgets. The Manager will provide technology support to team members across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain project management and measurement approaches, ensuring high-quality service delivery and optimized project performance.
• Adhere to and enforce IT methodologies, technology operations, documentation, and quality control standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally between management, IT, and database application users.
• Oversee Business Application team members and contractors to ensure optimal performance across the organization.
• Lead and support Dynamics 365 system enhancements and project management.
• Translate customer requirements into software design, development plans, and implementation strategies.
• Manage the implementation of new systems, ensuring integration with existing platforms.
• Propose system design and enhancements based on customer feedback and product requirements.
• Manage Enterprise Agreements and Business Application System licenses with Microsoft.
• Act as a subject matter expert on corporate application systems, providing pre- and post-implementation support, troubleshooting production issues, administering configurations, maintaining application security controls, and creating customized solutions.
• Collaborate with management and users to define project scope, work, and deliverable timelines.
• Provide support to the IT organization for ongoing projects and initiatives.
Candidate Profile Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing business applications, specifically with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O). Experience in leading cross-functional teams, implementing and supporting complex IT projects, and translating customer requirements into effective software solutions is crucial. The candidate should have a strong track record of resolving issues, optimizing system performance, and enhancing business processes through strategic project management.
General Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant IT software/applications experience, including managing large IT projects and teams.
• Demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: Manufacturing, Advanced Warehousing, Project Accounting, Finance, and Master Planning.
• Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, CRM/Sales Operations Projects.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in business case development for budgets, cost/benefit analysis, ROI, and financial analyses.
• Strong knowledge of project management and software development methodologies.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, and dashboarding.
