Payroll Specialist - HYBRID 2 Days onsite POST NUMBER: 416906
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, monitor, and retain documentation for each biweekly payroll in accordance with federal and state guidelines, maintaining confidentiality of these files.
- Oversee time-keeping functionality and process adjustments, if any, to employee reported hours.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission.
- Work cross-functionally with regional managers to maintain payroll procedures and ensure accuracy of time-keeping.
- Assist in preparation of the month-end accrued payroll expense.
- Process all properly documented and approved requests for changes in pay rates.
- Process off-cycle payroll requests as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with HR to ensure deductions for benefits are accurately recorded and processed.
- Update and maintain HRIS with all relevant payroll information.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant payroll experience.
- Experience with multi-site operations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Workday is required!
- Experience in a high growth (primarily acquisition) environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Desire to support all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
