Location: Deerfield Beach, FL
Compensation: $250,000-$350,000/annually
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a growing organization and serve as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team. This individual will lead the company's financial strategy while remaining engaged in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative executive who combines strong leadership with deep financial expertise, capital markets knowledge, and the ability to drive business growth. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable developing long-term strategy and rolling up their sleeves when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and partner closely with the executive team on business initiatives and long-term planning.
- Oversee Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Capital Markets, and other related financial functions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and execute capital markets strategies while maintaining strong banking and financial relationships.
- Evaluate financing opportunities and support organizational growth initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.
- Establish financial controls, operational efficiencies, and scalable processes.
- Deliver executive-level financial analysis and recommendations to support key business decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve operational and financial performance.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing culture throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer or senior financial executive.
- Candidates currently serving as a VP of Finance, Chief Accounting Officer, President, or similar executive ready to step into a CFO role are encouraged to apply.
- CPA required
- CFA designation is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading finance organizations within small to mid-sized companies.
- Strong capital markets knowledge with experience managing banking and financing relationships.
- Investment banking experience is highly desirable.
- Mortgage servicing, lending, financial services, specialty finance, or capital markets industry experience is preferred.
- Public accounting background is a plus.
