Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Near Takoma Park, MD (Hybrid schedule)
Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale, complex programs and projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee project engagement including planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, risks, and issues.
- Define project goals, requirements, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Monitor project adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards; mitigate risks and facilitate problem-solving.
- Maintain integrated project plans, deliver progress reports, and update stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of project management experience, including 4 years in IT development and operations.
- Minimum 4 years of agile project management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, Microsoft Office 365, MS Visio, Tableau, and MS PowerBI.
- Ability to work on both Mac and PC platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership ability, and experience in high-performance environments.
- PMP certification preferred; experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries or corporate real estate construction a plus.
- Business Analyst certification and/or ITIL certifications desirable.
