We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning to support the organization's financial objectives. This role requires a keen analytical mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and profitability.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasting updates.
    • Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate budget preparation and adherence.
    • Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
  3. Strategic Planning:

    • Support long-term strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and scenario analysis.
    • Evaluate potential business opportunities and investments, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessment.
    • Assist in the development of financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  4. Financial Operations:

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial policies.
    • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
    • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and analysis.
  5. Business Partnering:

    • Act as a financial business partner to various departments, providing guidance and support on financial matters.
    • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  6. Ad-Hoc Projects:

    • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, providing financial expertise and analysis.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
