Hybrid: On-Site (2x a week – Tues/Thurs)
Compensation: $65,000-75,000/year salary range based upon experience
Summary
Vaco is partnering with a growing, private equity backed organization seeking a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant supports core General Ledger activities, including expense allocations, accruals, prepaid amortization, T&E review, payroll support, reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate monthly expenses across subsidiaries and cost centers
- Prepare journal entries and reclasses, including prepaid amortization
- Assist with monthly and quarterly accruals and roll?forwards
- Support monthly expense analytics and variance analysis
- Complete monthly account reconciliations for management review
- Provide support during the annual financial audit
- Perform additional accounting tasks as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required)
- Staff Accountant with 2–5 years of corporate GL accounting experience at a large organization or 1 years of public accounting experience (Required)
- Intercompany accounting experience (Preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) (Required)
- NetSuite experience (Preferred)
- Strong communication skills (Required)
- Candidates with good job stability (Preferred)
