Large manufacturing company is looking for a Cash Manager to build and maintain relationships with banks, and oversee AP, AR and general financial functions. Responsibilities
  • Treasury
    • Oversee daily management of cash, debt, and financing activities.
    • Forecast daily cash position and predict cash requirements through financial analysis.
    • Liaise with banks to address account issues and develop strategies to optimize cash position.
    • Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports.
    • Follow standard procedures to improve efficiency in cash collections, disbursements, and reporting.
    • Develop financial reports to assist management in decision-making and ensure confidentiality of financial records.
  • Financial Management
    • Supervise cash management and plan cash flow processes.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with banks, vendors, customers, and business partners.
    • Apply forward-looking models and activity-based analyses for financial insights into organizational plans and budgets.
    • Act as the company's representative to banks, financial partners, auditors, and officials, staying current on audit practices and laws.
    • Oversee daily treasury operations, including credit, collections, and accounts payable, and authorize significant financial transactions.
    • Negotiate favorable terms with customers and vendors, and manage bank security administration.
  • Credit & Collections
    • Communicate daily with team members and collaborate with the Commercial Group on customer-related issues, ensuring timely collection of funds and minimizing bad debt risks.
    • Analyze customer information, including third-party reports, to determine appropriate credit levels and provide senior management with updates on aging receivables.
    • Monitor and report the status of tasks to senior management, ensuring efficient communication and risk management.
  • AP
    • Ensure timely entry of invoices and payments to vendors, support business operations, and meet regulatory requirements while communicating daily with team members on task status.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement to address vendor-related issues efficiently.
  • Insurance
    • Ensure adequate insurance coverage to support business needs, provide assistance for insurance-related requests from internal and external parties, and collaborate with Group Insurance on annual renewals.
  • Contract Review
    • Conduct financial reviews of contracts for customers and vendors to meet business needs, collaborating closely with Legal, Commercial, and Procurement teams.
Requirements
  • BS in Finance or Accounting - MBA or MA a nice to have
  • 10 years of experience, including 3-4 managing others
  • CPA nice to have
  • Experience using SAP
  • Analytical, organized and highly communicative and able to prioritize time/tasks
