Senior Accounts Receivable Manager POST NUMBER: 418839
Vaco is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Manager to lead an accounts receivable team. The Senior Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reporting. This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of AR practices, and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers.
- Monitor and manage the collections process to reduce outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Team Leadership:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounts receivable team.
- Delegate tasks and ensure efficient workflow within the department.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare and present AR reports to senior management.
- Analyze AR aging reports and implement strategies to improve collections.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Address and resolve customer billing issues and disputes promptly.
- Negotiate payment plans with customers as needed.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve AR processes.
- Implement best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain AR policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of AR practices, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
