Our client is sourcing a Employment Relations Officer for a 12-Month Contract.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing CPA students’ practical experience reports in PERT against a set framework, providing clear assessment feedback.
- Conducting advisement sessions with students, clarifying requirements and next steps.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers to support a positive training experience for students and employers and resolving any issues. Establishing pre-approved training programs with employer partners, ensuring alignment to standards, and preparing them for the new CPA Certification Program. Monitoring and reviewing existing pre-approved programs for continued compliance and guiding corrective actions as needed.
Experience Required:
- A CPA in good standing with at least 3 years of post designation experience and a relevant degree/diploma.
- Experience in public accounting, corporate, or government environments.
- Strong knowledge of CPA practical experience standards, competency development, and related policies.
- A clear, confident communicator skilled in relationship building, presenting, and resolving sensitive issues.
- Detail oriented with strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills. Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and understand PERT data requirements.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in cross functional teams.
- Familiarity with CPA program structures or other credentialing systems; knowledge of Competency Map 2.0 is an asset.
- Experience designing or implementing certification, training, or academic programs in regulated environments is an asset.
