Senior Accounts Payable Manager POST NUMBER: 419188
As a Senior Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department. You will lead a team, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Your expertise in Workday and management will be crucial in driving efficiencies and supporting the implementation of new processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing, expense report approvals, and payment disbursements.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including vendor management and reconciliation of accounts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Utilize Workday to maintain and update vendor information, process transactions, and generate reports.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and effective use of the system.
- Develop and implement best practices and policies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.
- Prepare and present financial reports and metrics to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in accounts payable management.
- Minimum of five years of management experience, including team leadership and development.
- Experience with Workday, including hands-on experience with Workday implementation preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
