Vaco San Antonio is partnering with a dynamic client seeking two dedicated Payroll Staff members to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Position: Payroll Staff (Contract-to-Hire)
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for a large company, managing payroll for approximately 500-600 employees on a bi-weekly basis per payroll staff.
- Utilize Workday to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure detailed attention to payroll data, analyzing and identifying potential errors or omissions.
- Handle payroll operations for 20-30 locations, ensuring compliance and timely payments.
- Collaborate effectively with other stakeholders and departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
- 1 years of payroll experience in a similar role.
- Workday experience (1-2 years preferred, but open to candidates with less recent experience if it is current).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
- Experience with large company payroll operations, managing payroll for around 500-600 employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing payroll for multiple locations.
