Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis/Budgeting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial forecasts, collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and assumptions. Execute comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments. Evaluate financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports and summaries for management and stakeholders. Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs to track performance against targets.
- Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning initiatives by analyzing financial implications of business decisions and identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings. Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, and project future financial scenarios
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including accounting, operations, and sales, to gather information and support business initiatives. Provide financial insights and guidance to non-financial colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA (or in process) is a plus, as is an MBA
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a proven history of successfully managing complex financial models and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in forecasting, and budgeting. Advanced skills in Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, NetSuite) are essential.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly to internal customers
