About the Opportunity
FP&A Responsibility
- Preparation of Quarterly Budget to Actual Report in liaison with operation team
- Maintains project budget version tracker and project sensitivity analysis
- Create Project Budget Substantiation Document for each project to substantiate Lot Anchor Estimates.
- Assist and review monthly project status presentation for internal stakeholders
- Prepare Project Closeout Report to assist with project and trade evaluations.
- Assist in the preparation of construction proforma
- Develop and Prepare project closing forecast
- Prepare sales and décor order cost analysis
- Prepare various cost analysis
- Ad hoc tasks as requested
- Year-end working paper preparation
- Monthly bank reconciliation and daily cash flow
- Reconcile trust statements from lawyers
- Complete closing procedures and update closing schedules
- Prepare statements of adjustment in liaison with lawyers
- Prepare and circulate monthly closing schedules
- Preparation and review of Month-end accounting close-out report
- HST filing and liaison with CRA
About You
- CPA designation
- Minimum 5 years of strong analysis and accounting experience
- Real estate industry experience
- Experience with FP&A and financial modeling
- Proficient in data tools like SQL and PowerBI
Salary
$105,000 - $125,000/year

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
