Interim FP&A Adaptive Consultant POST NUMBER: 485323
Our client, a high-growth software company, is seeking an Interim FP&A Systems Consultant to support several strategic planning and forecasting initiatives.
This role is hybrid, with in-office expectations 1-3 days/week in San Mateo, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for financial planning systems and forecasting solutions.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with Finance and business stakeholders to understand planning and reporting needs.
- Design, build, and enhance forecasting models, reporting structures, and planning tools.
- Evaluate and improve data flows between planning platforms, ERP systems, and other business applications.
- Partner with Finance, FP&A, IT, and operational teams to develop scalable solutions that support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead testing, validation, troubleshooting, and deployment activities for system enhancements and new functionality.
- Document system configurations, business processes, and implementation methodologies.
- Provide recommendations for improving planning processes, system architecture, and forecasting capabilities.
Requirements:
- Significant hands-on experience with enterprise planning and forecasting platforms, including advanced modeling and system architecture expertise.
- Proven ability to design and implement planning models from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and driver-based planning methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP systems and integrations between financial applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
