Senior Financial Analyst, Accounting & Treasury POST NUMBER: 420278
Our client is a global pharmaceutical company. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for leading the month-end close activities and treasury including partnering with business leaders across the organization.

About the Opportunity
- Lead the month-end close activities, including co-ordination and communication with multiple business partners, performing account analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, co-ordinate the completion of the Trial Balance monthly package.
- Lead Monthly Financial close meetings with Finance Management and Global Business Solutions team.
- Identify risks and prepare potential adjustments for various reserves (product returns, obsolescence, bad debts, other).
- Ownership and preparation of annual local unaudited statutory Financial Statements.
- Interpret and evaluate results, prepare analysis, documentation, and presentations to business partners.
- Assist with internal and external audits, financial research and analysis, written correspondence, memos, and assigned projects.
- Provide support for corporate tax and transfer pricing projects.
- SOX Processes Coordinator for Finance and Operations. SOX Process owner for applicable controls.
- Monitor the intercompany billing process, to ensure analysis and completeness of intercompany transactions
- Ownership of the monthly cash flow forecast. Determine cash needs and recommend changes to investment vehicles.
- Ownership of the dividend payment process.
- Responsible for the administration of the pension documentation and payments, contact for third party actuaries and pension investment partners.
- Member of the company’s Canada Pension committee, including Administrator’s responsibilities.
- Lead and support the annual pension audit with a third-party accounting firm.
- Key contact for company insurance policies and processes, documentation, and payments.
About You
- CPA, with at least 4-6 years of accounting experience in a global company
- Management of Month end processes, account reconciliations and analysis
- Relevant industry experience from Pharmaceutical, CPG, Manufacturing etc.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $95,000/year
