Position Summary: This position will provide financial analysis for broad business strategies that are critical to drive the growth and financial results of the company. This role provides monthly forecasting analysis that serves to identify the critical success financial metrics for various initiatives that improve profitability, increase margin and lead to successful achievement of long-term goals. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director, Corporate Finance & Treasury.


Key performance areas: Analysis of operations, forecasting, KPI development, accurate and timely recommendations, strong communication skills, customer focus, data storytelling. Ability to work independently and partner internally as a team to deliver results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Key contributor in the annual planning process managing and supporting Finance, Marketing, Sales and Corporate Administration with departmental deliverables.
  • Supports Senior leadership to develop and track targets to ensure achievement of company goals.
  • Subject matter expert for our planning, forecasting, and reporting system Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Responsibilities include budget tracking and financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring, pricing analysis, and performing data analysis relevant to project tasks.
  • Identify key performance indicators and create regular variance reports to track performance.
  • Prepare financial analysis of business cases identifying drivers of profitability (NPV, IRR, Simple/Discounted payback, etc analysis) and facilitate the process to track achievement of project results.
  • Prepare analysis of actual vs. budget, financial trend reporting.
  • Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems to perform appropriate analyses.
  • Utilizes a thorough understanding of the business to develop complex models for forecasting, trending, and root cause analysis of results.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and presents fact based qualitative and quantitative results and data to management in a concise and easy to follow format.
  • Provide analysis of customer pricing proposals. Develops data and tools in support of pricing proposals.
  • Ensures quality and timeliness of deliverables that meet expectations while balancing business needs with the appropriate level of analytical rigor.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal business partners

Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 4 years related experience. Experience in data analysis and its translation into recommendations. Advanced Excel and data analytic skills are required (other Microsoft Office applications a plus), problem-solving and analytical skills are required. Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning, Microsoft Dynamics AX, SQL are a plus. CPA and/or MBA are desired.
