Vaco is currently working with a non profit organization and they have an opening for a dynamic staff accountant. This role requires 3-5 years in general accounting. The posistion offers healthy benefits and room for professional growth!
Essential Functions:
- Prepare Financial reports
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Analyze and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
- Maintain prepaid and accrued expense schedules.
- Close Fixed Assets and Construction in Progress monthly.
- Provide backup for AP and AR processes
- Process construction draw requisitions.
- Prepare reports required under bond agreements.
- Aid in budget preparation and reporting.
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Experience in non profit or healthcare is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
- Prior exposure to an accounting software is a must

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
