Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Strategy:
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT products, aligning them with the company’s overall objectives.
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to develop detailed product requirements and user stories.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring a clear, consistent understanding of the tasks and priorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that product deliverables meet business needs.
- Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and progress to stakeholders, gathering feedback and adjusting the product strategy as necessary.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to release, including planning, execution, and post-launch analysis.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that products deliver a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Ensure that products meet accessibility standards and are easy to use for all target audiences.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
- Gather user feedback and analyze product performance to continuously improve the product and prioritize future enhancements.
- Identify potential risks and issues during the product development process, working proactively to mitigate them.
- Ensure that all product developments comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Assist in triaging and prioritizing production issues in the backlog.
Minimum requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, related fields, or equivalent experience required.
- Industry certifications preferred.
Experience and Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with analytics tools to monitor product performance (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
