Senior Systems Analyst (ETRM ideally Endur) POST NUMBER: 422331
This is direct hire, downtown Houston and onsite
This position will work as a part of an integrated team providing direct technical assistance to key business users and technical projects at varying levels of complexity.
Responsibilities to include:
- Participates on company-wide projects for rollouts of software installations/upgrades for applications/operating systems and performs system integration testing.
- Assists in planning, designing, evaluating, implementing, and monitoring of various applications or systems.
- Consults with customers to ascertain needs, identify problems, applying business expertise/technical knowledge to design, and/or create information solutions to ensure satisfaction with delivered services.
- Designs and documents systems/application models for customers and reviews with team members to ensure customer needs are met.
- Provides operational/functional support for systems and troubleshoots/resolves problems.
- Acquires and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (Internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and foster value driven business solutions.
- Provides technical training and mentoring to promote competency and growth.
- Participate in monthly Maintenance Window rotation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related industry or technical experience is required.
- Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) degree is preferred.
- 5 years of experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise class commercial applications is preferred.
- 3 years of experience with Java is preferred.
- 3 years of experience with OpenLink Endur is preferred.
- 1 years of knowledge and experience with JVS scripting and Crystal Report development and support experience is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in Information Technology specific to application development and support is preferred.
