Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 422685
Our client is in search of a Financial Analyst to join their team. This individual will be responsible for examining financial data, trends, and providing insights to drive decision-making regarding investments, financial planning, and business operations.
Requirements:
- Work closely with key stakeholders from various departments to analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date financial results, providing clear insights into variances against plan, forecast, and prior year.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting efforts to ensure accurate financial planning aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify, analyze, and provide valuable insights into critical performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and optimize business performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive financial reports and interactive dashboards using advanced tools, enhancing information accessibility, and enabling quicker decision-making processes.
- Craft engaging presentations summarizing financial results for leadership, including month-end reporting and quarterly board presentations, fostering a deeper understanding of financial performance.
- Assist in the annual business planning by preparing and analyzing relevant data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to compare current monthly activities with approved budgets, evaluating the effects on projected annual profitability.
- Create interim and monthly financial reports and address any related questions or concerns.
- Perform data requests, financial analyses, and other analytical tasks as needed by various departments, including senior executives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Financial Accounting associates, management, and cross-functional teams throughout the organization, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in budgeting and forecasting processes is a must.
- Strong quantitative abilities paired with a talent for interpreting data, drawing insights, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling is required.
- Proficiency in utilizing finance tools & systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
