Direct Hire – Onsite Positions
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement accepted operational and organizational processes in supporting the business’ finance and cash bookkeeping.
- Responsible for the provision of the general ledger, records and financial reports.
- Preparation and analysis of budgets, expenses, revenues, and sales.
- Manage billing and bookkeeping activities of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage customer and vendor inquiries as they relate to our financial bookkeeping.
- Manage customer collections as they relate to accounts receivable.
- Supports the finance team on daily activities within the department.
- Support other departments and ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Reconcile cash accounts (Payroll, Merchant, Operating and Lockbox)
- Prepare financial reports.
- Perform general account reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable activity.
- Protect the Company’s competitive value by maintaining confidential information.
- Support The Company’s organizational and financial missions by supporting business initiatives.
- Supports internal and external requests by researching and interpreting data.
- Perform components of the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation, bank reconciliations, and account and financial statement analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on streamlining, improving, and automating processes.
Requirements:
- Accounting Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA or CMA preferred
- One year or more of accounting experience garnered in a previous position or through participation in an internship program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, prior knowledge of accounting principles, analysis skills, and financial mathematical skills are expected of prospective staff accountants.
- Detail-oriented financial and other record bookkeeping.
