One of Vaco’s manufacturing clients has engaged in a search to find a Regional Accounting & Finance Manager to support their office here in Dallas. This is a blended role between supporting day-to-day accounting and business support for operations and the field (reviewing & interpreting results, strategy discussions, having a seat at the table with internal partners regarding budgeting & forecasting.)

Day-to-day
- Coordinate and oversee the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide management with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and ensure high-quality work.
- Stay current with accounting regulations, standards, and industry trends to recommend and implement best practices and process improvements.
- Scoping out KPI’s and tying results into the financial reporting
- Ad hoc analysis for new projects including CapEx requests and justification
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional designation required (CPA or CMA)
- 5 years of finance/accounting experience
- Construction materials experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability in financial/business analysis
- Must have a strategic business focus and ability to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately
- GAAP knowledge
- This position will be based out of our Dallas, TX office
