Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 423276
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across several business areas, contributing to our financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Smart View and a strong background in financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making. Analyze financial statements, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards. Utilize Smart View to streamline reporting processes and ensure accuracy.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance in financial systems. Develop and manage financial databases, leveraging Smart View for data analysis and reporting.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to gather financial information and support business initiatives. Provide financial guidance and support to non-financial stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial planning and reporting. Implement best practices and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role.
- Smart View Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle Smart View is required. Experience with other financial software tools is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly to various audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Experience in banking and / or insurance
