Job Title: ServiceNow Project & Change Management Consultant (Contract)

Company: Vaco (on behalf of a confidential Fortune 500 client)

Position Type: Contract | 9 months to 1 year | Remote | 20-40 hours per week (flexible based on project phase)

Pay Rate: $70-75/hr w2, no c2c, no 1099

Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM ET | May include occasional overtime to meet project deadlines

Start Date: Immediate hire – this is an urgent project requirement.

Role Overview: We are seeking a ServiceNow Project & Change Management Consultant with expertise in managing large-scale organizational change, specifically in ServiceNow HRSD implementations. You will be responsible for driving strategy as part of a transformative HR services initiative for a highly reputable Fortune 500 client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall coordination and delivery of a ServiceNow HRSD implementation project, working in close collaboration with the system implementer’s project manager to ensure alignment with the client’s strategic goals and overall project plan.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project management and change management strategies to ensure the successful deployment and adoption of ServiceNow HRSD, while addressing the client’s specific needs and expectations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clearly define project deliverables and objectives in alignment with the implementation roadmap.
  • Work with the system implementer and client leadership to finalize and structure the internal project team for optimal execution.
  • Create, maintain, and manage detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring they adhere to the client’s standards and project framework.
  • Identify and address project risks, dependencies, and issues proactively, ensuring smooth progress toward completion.
  • Oversee change management efforts, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and the development of training programs to ensure seamless adoption of ServiceNow HRSD.
  • Lead regular status meetings, providing clear updates on project progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide direction and support to the project team, fostering a collaborative environment to drive the successful implementation of ServiceNow HRSD.

 

Qualifications:

  • Project and change management experience with proven track record of MULTIPLE ServiceNow HRSD implementation project completions.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources and ServiceNow HRSD functionalities.
  • Great leader, with good human interfacing skills
  • Project management and change management tools experience
  • PMP, Prosci, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
  • HRSD Implementation certification highly desired not a hard requirement

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven track record of multiple ServiceNow HRSD implementations.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow HRSD modules and knowledge management best practices.
  • Extensive experience in change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow HRSD certifications (preferred but not required with proven experience).

Additional Information:

  • Flexible workload ranging from 20-40 hours per week, with potential for increased hours during critical project phases.
  • Overtime may be required during high-intensity knowledge-gathering or project deadlines.
  • Remote position with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM ET.
