JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Project Manager for a 6M Contract opportunity that is 100% remote-based. The Project Manager will deliver multiple simultaneous projects on time and within budget, focusing on business outcomes, team management, budgeting, planning, and scheduling.
- Plan / Manage IS Application / Infrastructure / Security Project Execution – Inception-to-Completion
- Lead Project Teams – Project Scope / Deliverables / Resources / Timing / Budgeting
- Manage Project Execution – Resource Planning / Risk/Issue Management / Financial Management / Implementation Planning / Scope Management
- Establish Overall Project Schedules / Key Milestones / Dependencies, etc.
- Direct Project Tasks – Ensure Project Progresses on Schedule / within Budget
- Identify / Resolve Issues / Conflicts within Project Teams
- Communicate Project Risks / Issues / Corrective Actions to Senior / Appropriate Management
- Prepare Implementation Impact Analysis / Communicate Plans Effectively
- Manage Project Scope / Identify Potential Crises / Devise Contingency Plans
- Coach / Mentor / Motivate Project Teams – Ensure Accountability of Assigned Work
- Manage Project Forecasting / Purchasing / Expenditures Tracking
- Develop / Maintain Project Documentation
- Monitor Project Progress Against Functional / Business Objectives
- Obtain Project Signoff of Completion via Customer Satisfaction / Acceptance Testing
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Project Management (3 years) – Plan / Manage IS Application / Infrastructure / Security Project Execution
- Cloud Migration Project Management – Partnering with 2 Implementation Partner Resources to Manage Data Center Migrations to Azure Cloud Platform
- Project Execution Management – Project Scoping / Resource Planning / Budgeting / Risk/Issue Management / Financial Management / Implementation Planning
- Prepare IIA (Implementation Impact Analysis) – Evaluate Potential Effects of Projects Assessing the Impact of Business Processes / Technology Infrastructure / Data Management / User Experience / Security/Compliance / Costs/Budget / Change Management, etc. | Develop Strategies to Address Potential Risks / Issues
- Manage Project Forecasting / Purchasing / Expenditures Tracking
- Documentation – Develop / Maintain Detailed Project Documentation
- Coach / Mentor / Motivate Project Teams
