6 month Contract, Jr. QA Engineer, 1 day onsite, $36/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automation testing of software applications.
- This role will be divided equally between API/backend testing (50%) and UI testing (50%)
- Execute pre-existing test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product functionality and testing requirements.
Requirements:
- 2 year of Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
- Proficiency in writing, creating, and executing test cases.
- Manual testing experience is acceptable; however, candidates should be prepared to work with test automation as part of this role. Experience with any test automation tools is a strong preference.
- Demonstrated experience with API testing is essential.
- Basic SQL querying capabilities, including experience with building, and executing database queries, as well as performing basic joins.
