Exciting opportunity available for a Controller position with a PE-backed company based in Fort Worth, situated in a rapidly growing market segment. Qualified candidates will have manufacturing industry, cost accounting, and inventory experience, executive presence, and process improvement background (streamlining, creating efficiencies, etc.).
Compensation: $145-165k Bonus DOE
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the month/quarter/year-end close processes with precision and efficiency. Prepare financial statements.
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger, depreciation calculations, capital expenditure requests and compliance.
- Organize and oversee the year-end physical inventory of inventory and cycle count process.
- Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all organizational programs.
- Oversee the preparation and review of all financial statements and reports.
- Develop and monitor key business performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Play a pivotal role in M&A activities, including purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing industry is required
- Experience in a private equity-backed environment is preferred
