Job Summary:
As a Cost Accounting Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in overseeing financial close processes, driving cost control measures, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. You'll lead a small team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring SOX compliance and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze supply chain activities to optimize financial performance and key metrics
- Review and approve journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and reporting
- Contribute to budget planning, operational forecasting, and cost estimation for new product development
- Drive process enhancements and collaborate with internal teams to support business initiatives
- Facilitate preparation for internal and external audits
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, fostering growth and accountability
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5-7 years of finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or supply chain
- Proven leadership track record in a financial role
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system familiarity
- Competitive salary: $110K - $120K
- 10% target bonus
