Corporate Accounting Manager - 12 months POST NUMBER: 424160
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Monitor policies and procedures for assigned departments and identify and suggest improvements for accounting reporting and recording procedures.
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and maintaining compliance.
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
- Oversee and support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
- Maintain efficient General Ledger accounting and Procure-to-Pay systems. Develop and maintain key relationships with business partners and outside vendors. Provide financial perspective and advice to management team.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
