About the Opportunity

Overview:
  • Support the development and execution of strategic financial plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the operations of various financial departments, including accounting and auditing, ensuring efficient management and adherence to best practices.
  • Guide financial decision-making by applying company policies to current economic conditions.
  • Create and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and uphold robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assess and enhance financial reporting systems, accounting practices, and investment activities, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Standardize accounting policies and procedures across the organization while staying informed on relevant legislation.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and maintain safeguards for revenue and expenses.
Financial Reporting:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards.
  • Oversee monthly financial reporting processes and contribute to the development of a KPI financial reporting model.
  • Manage annual budgeting and support the preparation of quarterly investor packages.
  • Supervise the year-end audit process and handle capital calls and distributions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory filings and remittances.
Financial Analysis:
  • Provide in-depth financial updates to senior management by analyzing key data points.
  • Monitor financial performance across various business units and communicate insights effectively.
  • Lead the development of financial simulation models and conduct cash flow management.
  • Analyze financial implications of acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing opportunities.
  • Report critical trends affecting organizational financial health to senior management.
General Ledger Management:
  • Provide leadership to the accounting team, fostering a productive and trustworthy environment.
  • Oversee the management of the general ledger and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, along with bank reconciliations and month-end closings.
Human Resources & Payroll:
  • Recruit, train, and manage finance staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Oversee payroll preparation and maintain compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Stay updated on HR trends to optimize payroll efficiency and manage departmental training programs.
  • Safeguard payroll records and ensure data integrity.


About You
  • Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role with at least two years of experience in human resources.
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of national tax regulations and compliance reporting.
  • Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes.
  • Exemplary history of financial project management.

Salary Range
$140,000 - $150,000/year
