About the Opportunity:
As a Senior Corporate Law Paralegal, you will provide essential support to the legal team, assisting in various corporate law matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and more. You will collaborate with lawyers and clients, ensuring that all legal documentation and filings are managed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review a wide range of legal documents including incorporation documents, bylaws, resolutions, corporate minutes, and annual filings.
- Maintain corporate records, ensuring that all documentation is updated and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring all corporate filings and regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence, including reviewing corporate structures and documentation and provide support in complex corporate transactions, ensuring all documents are properly executed and filed.
- Communicate with clients regarding their corporate structures and legal matters.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding ongoing corporate filings and updates.
About Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate.
- 5 years of experience as a Corporate Law Paralegal, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
- Deep understanding of corporate law, including experience with M&A, corporate filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication and client interaction skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative.
- Bilingual (EN and FR)
