Billing Specialist POST NUMBER: 426348
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for all project Billings
- Prepares and submits invoices
- Processes change orders
- Reviews of monthly under/overbilling report and providing explanations of under billed jobs
- Maintains project information on the billing log to ensure proper bill timing and tracking
- Reviews of material shipping report in preparation for material billing
- Develops working relationships with all both internal and external customers
- Troubleshoot billing issues and use good judgement and best accounting principles to problem solve
- Produce short-form billings accurately, in an organized fashion and according to the agreed service proposal; correct any errors or changes made by the Project Managers
- Properly and timely file receivables according to company processes
- Act in a pleasant, courteous, and respectful manner to all internal and external customers at all times.
- 3 years of experience working in customer billing
- Strong ability to work with customers
- Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- Experience working in construction billing is preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytic abilities
