Product Implementation Specialist POST NUMBER: 426539
The Product Implementation Coordinator is responsible for the build, test, and release of new travel insurance products, modification, and issue resolution of existing products and product-related projects such as regulatory conversions and/or insurer-related changes such as mergers, entity changes or domestication.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning
- Coordinate the product roadmap per management priorities;
- Escalate prioritization conflicts as needed with a clear needs analysis and proposal for resolving the conflict
- Execution (Build, Test, Release)
- Direct the day-to-day product implementation activities
- Animate the daily product administration stand-up
- Animate the daily scrum
- Ensure clear understanding and alignment of tasks/priorities across the entire product team
- Maintenance
- Coordinate regular maintenance of products as needed
- Ensure timely troubleshooting of reported bugs in production
- Ensure accurate root-cause-analysis of all bugs with a focus on trends and the required actions to avoid repeat errors and a long-term focus on continuous improvement
- Maintain a product sunset list and drive the commercial department to actively move partners away from sunset products and onto active products.
- Performance Management
- Ensure Jira tickets are kept in good order with data to serve analytical reporting
- Creation of KPI reporting for use in steering the team
- Creation of management dashboards relative to product pipeline, throughput and team performance
- Continuous Improvement
- Maintain a constant feedback loop on the product implementation process, logging all key insights
- Conduct monthly and quarterly lessons learned
- Identify initiatives for continuous improvement and drive them to completion
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
- 2-3 years insurance industry experience
- Experience with project management with proven track record of working successfully with multiple departments
- Professional experience with Jira
- Excellent presentation skills and slideware capabilities
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
