Location: North County San Diego – Fully Onsite
Title: Accounting Manager
Salary: $110-130k Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Lead General Accounting functions such as general ledger, AP, AR, Payroll and cost accounting
- Lead month end closing including preparing and posting of journal entries and reconcile monthly ledger accounts and help establish accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and financial reporting packages
- Monitoring and managing Raw material, Work-in-process and Finished goods inventory, providing adjustments as needed
- Monitoring standard cost for each product and monitor reports like Inventory, cost absorptions and variances. Manage and analyze standard costs, BOM’s, etc.
- Ensure proper internal controls are maintained and provide process improvements
- Participate in the company's continuous improvement projects to assist in identifying opportunities and implement cost-saving objectives
Required Qualifications:
- BA or BS in Business Administration emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of related experience in a standard manufacturing environment as an Accountant, Accounting Manager or Cost Accountant. Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Large ERP system experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suites, including Excel
- Experienced in Manufacturing environment
