Senior Financial Analyst

Location: On-site, Greenville, NC (with flexibility as needed)

A dynamic and growing pharmaceutical company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team in Greenville, NC. This position will support financial operations at a large manufacturing facility specializing in oral solid dosage forms. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with operational leadership to ensure accurate financial records, drive key business decisions, and optimize profitability through strategic financial oversight.

Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the financial processes at the site, providing financial insights to support revenue growth and cost optimization. This role will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, while also ensuring compliance with financial controls and processes. The position reports directly to the Director of Finance and works closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support annual strategic planning, budgeting, and monthly forecasting of the site's financial performance.
  • Drive key business decisions by preparing capital investments, strategic plans, pricing models, and bids.
  • Collaborate with Cost Accounting and operational teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs, ultimately expanding margins.
  • Handle month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheets.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, including documentation and testing of controls.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX-related activities, coordinating changes as needed, and work with auditors on SOX process reviews and testing.
  • Perform additional financial duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • CPA, CPA candidate, or MBA/MSA is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in Finance/Accounting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, is required.
  • Experience with BI tools and financial consolidation software (OneStream, HFM) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to drive financial decisions and work collaboratively with multiple departments.
