About the Role
As a Technical Lead/Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions while leading and mentoring a talented team of developers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the architecture and implementation of software solutions meet the highest standards in terms of scalability, security, and performance. In addition to providing technical leadership, you will actively contribute to the development and optimization of critical systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. Key tasks will include:
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams to design and build robust, scalable solutions.
- Solution Architecture: Design technical architectures that align with business objectives, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Hands-On Development: Participate in coding, debugging, and optimizing applications alongside development teams.
- Cloud Architecture & Deployment: Architect and deploy solutions using cloud services, ensuring resilience and scalability.
- API Integration: Lead the design and implementation of seamless API integrations across platforms.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive the implementation of cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, ensuring automated provisioning and consistency across environments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Significant experience (typically 8 years) in software development, with at least 3-5 years in a technical leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Java development and application design.
- In-depth experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Proven ability in API design and integration across various platforms.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and lead a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
