A SaaS client is seeking a Senior Manager of Fixed Assets and Leases to oversee the month-end close process, manage accounting for fixed assets and leases, and lead financial statement consolidations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Software Capitalization Process: Manage the accounting treatment for internal-use software development in accordance with ASC 350-40, ensuring proper identification of costs that qualify for capitalization.
  • Month-End Close Management: Oversee and manage the month-end close for fixed assets and leases, including reviewing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Statement Consolidations: Lead the consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting that aligns with company standards and regulations.
  • Technical Accounting Expertise: Provide specialized guidance on complex accounting issues related to fixed assets, leases, and consolidations, ensuring adherence to GAAP and other relevant standards.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of overall accounting experience required; CPA preferred but not required
  • 3 years of Public Accounting experience preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a managerial role, leading and developing a team
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent
  • GL accounting experience with managing accounting and reporting for multiple entities
  • Skilled with ERP systems, experience with NetSuite is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and relevant accounting standards for fixed assets, ASC 35-40 leases (under ASC 842), and consolidations
