Financial Planning and Analysis Manager POST NUMBER: 427079
The FP&A Manager is responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes. This role involves providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership, driving data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the company's outlook is in order
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts.
- Work with department heads to understand revenue and cost drivers and identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy in forecasting and budgeting by performing variance analysis and adjusting for trends.
- Provide regular financial reporting to senior management, including variance analysis and performance against key financial metrics (KPIs).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that highlight financial trends, opportunities for growth, and areas of improvement.
- Develop financial models to support various strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning processes.
- Conduct scenario analysis and what-if modeling to assess the impact of different business strategies and external factors.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, operations, marketing) to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
- Support business leaders with ad-hoc analysis and financial recommendations for key strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team by providing financial insights to help shape company strategy.
- Qualified candidates with have a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field , MBA is a plus
- 6 years of experience in a Finance role, with at least 2 of those years in a supervisory capacity
- Must have reporting experience to include creating KPI Dashboards, Financial Models, and other special requests. M&A exposure if helpful
- Must also have exposure to a major ERP platform
