About the Opportunity
- Respond, troubleshoot, or escalate daily employee/management inquiries.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues
- Handle all administrative tasks with onboarding/offboarding for regular and contingent workforce in HRIS (new hire data entry, document collection, and termination notifications)
- Facilitate recruitment process.
- Deliver learning and development programs to employees and management
- Input and maintain confidential HR information and manage relevant employee processes and documentation in the HRIS.
- Coordinate leave of absences.
- Complete and monitor worker compensation and unemployment claims.
- Facilitate occupational health & safety process.
- Document standard operating procedures for the HR department.
- Validate internal employee changes to ensure alignment with standard operating procedures and data integrity.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
- Perform routine tasks to coordinate and execute human resource programs including but not limited to employee reward and recognition platform, employee referral, tuition reimbursement program,
- Frequently audit employee data to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Ensure and complete legal compliance requirements for state and federal regulations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the Legal Team as needed/required.
- Perform any payroll, benefits, pension activities in conjunction with ADP.
- Maintain client relationship management with ADP.
- Ad-Hoc duties as required
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- HR Certification (Preferred)
- 5 year(s) of relevant and/or HR administrative support experience required
- Familiar with all legislative and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of payroll and benefits processes
- Experience with ADP Workforce
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work well within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct internal investigations consistent with best practices and prevailing legal requirements.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, ability to apply depth of knowledge and experience in solving complex challenges/making recommendations where no precedent may exist.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have excellent communication skills (written/verbal/presentation).
- Self-motivated, results oriented and resourceful with problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Proficient with Microsoft O365 programs e.g., Power Point, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions, ability to read and comprehend correspondence.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and follow through.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel on an ongoing basis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; service-oriented and collaborative.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to learn new processes and technical systems as needed.
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and human resources software (ADP Preferred).
Salary
$80 000 - $90 000/yr
