Job Overview:
The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) will be instrumental in steering the strategic direction and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supply chain and light manufacturing organization. As a key member of the executive team, the CSCO will collaborate with other leaders to establish and meet business objectives, driving the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of all supply chain and light manufacturing operations; develop and implement continuous improvement plans to achieve desired results.

Industry Standards Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols, ensuring compliance to minimize risks and ensure the safety of associates.

Process Improvement: Monitor and evaluate workflow and assembly methods; implement necessary process improvements in supply chain and manufacturing areas.

Performance and Quality Goals: Ensure that supply chain and light manufacturing performance and quality goals are consistently met.

Contract Negotiations: Act as the primary company representative in contract negotiations for transportation and third-party logistics (3PL).

Production Management: Oversee all aspects of production, including equipment purchases, work schedules, and material requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team and stakeholders to enhance profitability and implement business-expanding strategies.

Facilities Management: Manage facilities across the organization, ensuring effective and efficient operations.

Performance Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely and accurate performance reports to the executive team.

Talent Development: Cultivate and provide opportunities for rising talent within the organization, fostering a culture of growth and development.
Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field; applicable certification(s) preferred.

Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in Supply Chain/Operations with advanced functional knowledge.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to utilize job-specific software/hardware/programs.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Analytical Skills: Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and gain the trust of stakeholders at all levels.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
