Our client is looking for a hands-on and strategic Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to lead data initiatives and help shape the company’s data-driven decision-making processes. This individual will be responsible for integrating data from multiple systems, delivering actionable insights through reporting, and managing a team of BI professionals. The role also requires a strong technical background, with the ability to implement and maintain BI tools, particularly Power BI, while aligning BI efforts with the organization’s overall goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of BI professionals, fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture within the organization.
- Oversee the integration and formatting of data from ERP systems and other sources into the company’s cloud-based data warehouse.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Implement and maintain BI tools, with a focus on Power BI for data visualization.
- Design and deliver customized reports and dashboards to stakeholders across the business.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and create tailored BI solutions.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure the BI infrastructure supports business requirements and future growth.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in selecting and managing external consultants to support BI implementation.
- Present findings and insights to senior management, aiding in strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 7 years of experience in business intelligence roles, including leadership and team management.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools, particularly Power BI, and expertise in data management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment; local candidates required for in-office collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions and advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
