Our client is in the natural resources industry, and they are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the domestic tax compliance for a Canadian multinational company.

About the Opportunity
- In this role, you will prepare quarterly, and annual tax provision reports for both domestic and foreign entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards
- You will be responsible for preparing consolidated income tax provisions and various tax analyses for both internal and external reporting
- As part of our continuous improvement efforts, you will help identify and implement opportunities to streamline tax accounting processes and enhance operational efficiencies
- On the tax compliance front, you will oversee Canadian tax returns, manage Regulation 105 and NR4 withholding obligations, and support audits and responses to Canadian federal and provincial authorities
- You'll also take charge of the global compliance obligations and tax audits for our corporate group and prepare detailed transfer pricing reports
- In addition, you’ll actively participate in tax planning activities, such as preparing tax-related corporate forecasts, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and researching technical issues
- Collaboration is key in this role
- You'll build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, recognizing the tax team’s integral role as a service provider to the wider corporate group

About You
- 3-5 years' experience from public accounting firm or industry
- Strong understanding of Canadian Corporate Tax
- Experience working with publicly listed companies reporting under IFRS
Salary Range
$95,000 - $110,000 /year
