Accounts Payable Coordinator POST NUMBER: 427695
- Responsible for all activities related to the firm’s accounts payable process, including maintaining invoice tracking systems, coding and verifying invoices, managing approvals, corresponding with vendors, coordinating with fund administrators, executing payments, and processing expense reports
- Support key activities related to accounts receivable and revenue, including invoicing, collections, and deposits in accordance with accounting and control policies
- Perform key accounting and control functions relating to cash management, including preparing and analyzing weekly treasury reports and summarizing invoice payments
- Support treasury processes through executing wire transfers, ACH and cheque payments, coordinating with banks and bank staff in connection with cash management activities
- Prepare working papers and compliance filings for various taxation authorities (HST, payroll withholding, corporate tax, etc.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and employees regarding payments in a professional manner
- Assist in designing and implementing accounting process improvements and system upgrades to support best-in-class financial operations
- Provide support and assistance with various other special projects as required
About You
- A university degree and with at least 2 to 3 years of practical accounting and accounts payable experience
- Proficient with standard accounting software as well as Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word; experience with Sage and Concur would be an asset
- Highly detail-oriented and analytical, able to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- General business and industry knowledge; real estate and/or private equity is an asset
Salary Range
$65,000 - $75,000/year
