We are looking for a Controller with construction industry experience for one of our clients located in the suburbs of the Southwest Baltimore area.  Ideal candidates will have 5 or more years of experience as a Controller for a Construction/Real Estate Development company.  We are looking for someone that can be hands on and lead a team in the areas of WIP (work in progress) accounting and AIA Billing.  This person will report to the CFO and President of the company and will manage the accounting and finance team.  We are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting and can oversee compliance programs related to the DOL, IRS, and DCAA.  Also need someone with string revenue recognition skills within the construction industry as it relates to percentage of completion and work in progress structures.

Base salary for this role will be in the 180k to 200k range depending on experience, background, and how things progress during the interview process and there will be an annual bonus as well.  If you are interested in learning more about this company and opening, please apply and we will schedule a confidential phone call with you.
