About the Opportunity
- Assist the Portfolio finance team in reviewing or compiling various month end deliverables prepared by the portfolio businesses
- Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for the Portfolio and some businesses being integrated, as required
- Managing all intercompany transactions between the Portfolio and other affiliated entities
- Working with Finance teams of the businesses on longer-term projects to drive efficiencies or more accurate management reporting
- Could have 10-15% travel. 1-2 major trips (typically about a week each globally (usually in Europe) for finance summits. Shorter trips periodically to help with integration of acquired companies.
About You
- CPA accounting designation preferred
- 3 years of experience in public accounting or industry
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications under IFRS, specifically IFRS 15 and 16
- Experience auditing or working in a software-based company an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, as are excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish considered an asset
Salary Range
$90,000 to $100,000/year
