Director of Product (FinTech/Banking) POST NUMBER: 430024
As a Director of Product Management - Financial Services, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation for clients through a human-centered product approach. You’ll work closely with client teams at all levels to understand their business goals, evaluate their current digital capabilities, and craft strategies to help them achieve their objectives.
In this position, you will help bridge client visions with practical and impactful digital solutions. The role calls for strategic thinking, leading by example, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of strategists, engineers, designers, and stakeholders, leveraging your deep expertise in financial services and product development to deliver outstanding digital experiences. Balancing creativity, technical knowledge, and leadership, you will guide projects from inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy:
Define and implement comprehensive product strategies that align user needs with business goals and technical feasibility. Lead key product decisions with executive stakeholders, focusing on feasibility, viability, and desirability. -
Establish and Lead Product Operating Model:
Design and implement a product operating model and develop best practices for product teams and the broader client organization. Ensure alignment and agility across all stakeholder levels. -
Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Drive collaboration among business leaders, product teams, design, compliance, and engineering to foster innovation and deliver impactful product outcomes. -
Product Leadership and Mentorship:
Provide strategic product leadership at the executive level and ongoing support and mentorship to product managers and team members. Champion a culture of continuous improvement through workshops, training, and best-practice sharing to enhance product management capabilities.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in product management, including defining product visions, developing roadmaps, and iterating on digital products.
- 5 years of experience in financial services, particularly in retail banking, small business banking, payments, or core banking platforms and technology. Proven experience leading large-scale product or platform implementations within financial services.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of digital product work, including leading products from conception to launch and delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of data-driven decision-making.
