Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains vendor files. Responsible for ensuring we have all necessary information to set up new vendors in accordance with company policy.
- Reviews all invoices, check requests, and expense reports for appropriate documentation, coding, and approval prior to payment.
- Data entry necessary to prepare invoices for payment.
- Matches invoices to payments, obtains all signatures for checks, and distributes payments accordingly.
- Acts as a liaison between the corporate office and all company locations regarding vendor invoices and payments.
- Answers all vendor inquiries.
- Runs corporate credit card reports, reviews receipts and coding for entry to general ledger.
- Reconciles vendor statements and payments. Responsibilities also include researching and correcting discrepancies.
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
- Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.
- Assists in monthly closings and reconciliations.
- Prepares, processes, and distributes 1099’s to appropriate vendors.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of three years of full cycle accounts payable experience.
• Computer proficiency: experience with accounting systems and highly skillful in Excel.
